This year, we will be sponsoring a Christmas tree at the December Christmas Tree Festival in support of Chestnut Tree House.
This is our first foray into sponsorship and we came about it quite by chance really. Antonia used to work in sponsorship and fundraising and has always bought into the idea of sponsorship as a great alternative to traditional marketing. But why Chichester and why Chestnut Tree House? That is down to Aunty Adelaide! Adelaide is a retired nurse, who used to run the heart unit at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital. On moving to Chichester, it was only a matter of time before she found Chestnut Tree House, and she is now actively involved in all sorts of fundraising activities for the hospice. BTMH was signed up even before we had seen the leaflet!
I was going to put some information here about what goes on there, but this video really says it all. It may take a while to download and is quite long, but I urge you to stick with it. And if you happen to be anywhere near Chichester between 7th and 10th December, please come along to St John’s Chapel.
